Hallway/Boardwalk Construction at Nor-Lea Main Campus

The boardwalk area in front of the IT offices is near the end of that particular plumbing project. It is now almost ready to pour the concrete and have the new flooring installed.  

Please be advised: The boardwalk hallway concrete flooring in front of IT will be poured late Thursday night 3/14. The concrete floor will need to dry and cure so that hallway will be closed Friday 3/15 and will be opened back up Saturday 3/16. There will be signage for alternate routes to be used during that time. 

During the current work on the plumbing issues related to the boardwalk in front of the IT offices, it was discovered that more demo will be needed to fully address these plumbing issues. There will be another floor demo going west in the same hallway in the near future. More on that as that work gets closer. 

We apologize for this inconvenience. Please understand this is necessary to resolve all of the related plumbing issues in that area and will benefit the Nor-Lea staff and patients once completed. 

Update: 3/20/24

The two restrooms at the corner by IT and buisness office/med record areas will remain closed until next Wednesday. Construction management has had an issue with broken pipe that would cause flooding in the excavated areas of that repair work. 

The good news is after Wednesday 3/27 those restrooms will be open and remain open as the repaired plumbing will be complete for that area. 

Construction management will still need to resolve the plumbing and piping going west toward materials management thereafter, however they do not anticipate any further restroom shutdowns.
