A New Form of Chaplaincy
Nor-Lea Hospital has partnered with Rm 453 ministries and its creator, Terry Todd, to bring a new form of chaplaincy to our inpatient rooms. Rm 453 Ministry's vision is that "hospital rooms for patient, emergency and trauma care receive a covering of daily prayer that is scriptural, focused and sincere."
How does it work?
Room numbers have been given to prayer warriors throughout Lea County churches who signed up to pray over a specific room number, daily. The entire process is HIPAA compliant, prayer warriors never know the names or information of the hospital patients they are praying for.
Patients can scan a QR code located on signs hung in each of our inpatient rooms and ask for specific prayers during their stay. These requests, identified only by their room number, are forwarded to the reconciling room prayer warrior.
