Welcome Bryan Welch, New COO

Dear Staff & Community,

 I am excited to announce that Bryan Welch will be joining our team as the new Chief Operating Officer.  The selection process was quite extensive with each of the candidates undergoing three separate interviews. The team’s most important criteria was looking for someone who would fit our culture and continue to the outstanding performance of the COO division.  Bryan Welch has a BBA from Texas Tech Universtiy in General Business, a MBA in Health Organizational Management from Texas Tech University and is completing his DBA in Health Organizational Management at Liberty Universtiy.

 Mr. Welch was a member of the Army and served in active duty in the Army Medical Department as an officer.  During his active duty, he oversaw a number of clinics and outpatient units in multiple theaters.  He continues his serve to the country in the Army Reserves where he continues to work as Chief Operations Officer.  He has worked at Covenant Medical Group for over 7 years as Director of Practice Operations and Director of Ambulatory Operations.  He has extensive experience in operations of specialty program such as orthopedics, pediatrics, cardiology, internal medicine and allergy services.  His most recent projects have involved working with cross functional teams to optimize efficiency, streamline workflows and enhance patient experiences.

 Mr. Welch plans to join the organization in early July of 2024.  I look forward to welcoming him to our team and working along side him and you to continue our great work at Nor-Lea Hospital District.  Please make him feel welcome as he integrates with our team.
