A work hour is any hour of the day that is worked and should be recorded to the nearest tenth of an hour. The workday is defined as the 24-hour period starting at 12:00 a.m. and ending at 11:59 p.m. The work week covers seven consecutive days beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. The usual work week period is 40 hours.

Overtime is defined as hours worked by an hourly or non-exempt employee in excess of 40 hours in a workweek and should be recorded to the nearest tenth of an hour. Overtime must be approved in advance by the manager to whom the employee reports.

Employees will clock in and out appropriately on a daily basis for each scheduled shift. Each employee is to maintain an accurate daily record of his or her hours worked. All absences from work schedules should be appropriately recorded.

Clocking In or Out for the day is as simple as swiping your badge at a time clock and then clicking the appropriate IN or OUT button. You can also clock in or out via CPSI.

If you miss a punch during your work day, you do not need to worry about missing all of the rest of them, just proceed as normal following the prompts on the time clock. Then E-mail pay@nlgh.org and copy your supervisor with the time adjustment that you need done.
